Gruvlifestyle Ltd. (“Gruv”, “we”) is the data controller for the personal information collected through gruvlifestyle.com. We process it in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).

We collect only what we need to sell and deliver event tickets: your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, and your ticket purchase history. Where you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile image from Google.

We use this information to create your account, issue and validate your tickets, provide customer support, and send you service messages such as password resets. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Card payments are processed by Flutterwave, our payment provider. Your card details are entered on Flutterwave's systems and are never received or stored by Gruv. We retain only a reference to the transaction so we can match a payment to a ticket.

We share your name and ticket details with the organizer of the event you booked, because they need it to admit you at the door. Organizers may not use it for unrelated marketing.

We keep account and ticket records for as long as your account is open, and for up to six years afterwards where we need them for tax and accounting purposes.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to processing, and to request a portable copy. To exercise any of these, contact privacy@gruvlifestyle.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

By creating an account or buying a ticket on Gruv you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years old to buy tickets, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.

Gruv is a ticketing platform. Tickets are issued by, and the event is the responsibility of, the organizer listed on the event page. Entry conditions, age limits and dress codes are set by that organizer and shown on the listing.

Refunds and cancellations: if an organizer cancels an event, you are entitled to a refund of the ticket price. Refund windows for other circumstances are set per event and shown at checkout. Refund requests should be sent to hello@gruvlifestyle.com and are processed back to the original payment method.

Reselling tickets above face value is prohibited. Each QR ticket admits one person and is invalidated after its first scan. We may void tickets we reasonably believe were obtained fraudulently or resold in breach of these terms.

Organizers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for holding any permits their event requires. Gruv may remove a listing that breaches these terms or applicable law.

If you believe a charge on your account is wrong, contact us at hello@gruvlifestyle.com before raising a chargeback so we can resolve it directly.

To the extent permitted by law, Gruv's liability in connection with a ticket is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. You can close your account at any time by contacting us.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Gruv uses strictly necessary cookies only. These keep you signed in (a session cookie), remember your light or dark theme preference, and protect against cross-site request forgery.

We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so there is nothing here to opt out of. Because these cookies are strictly necessary for the site to work, they are set without a consent banner, as permitted under the NDPA.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, but you will not be able to stay signed in or complete a purchase if you block them.
